CEO of Hasaacas Ladies Football Club, Evelyn Nsiah Asare Owusu, has lauded Black Queens player Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah, for her outstanding performances.
Speaking in an exclusive interview, the veteran football administrator was full of praise for the English-born player who made her debut with Ghana in April this year.
29 year old Boye-Hlorkah scored her first ever goal for Ghana in the Black Queens’ 4-1 win over Tanzania to progress to the quarterfinals at the ongoing 2024 CAF Women’s AFCON.
Boye-Hlorkah received the Woman of the Match Award for her brilliant display against Tanzania that got Ghana to qualify to the quarterfinals for the first time since 2016 at the AFCON leaving Evelyn Asare Owusu absolutely blown away.

“Chantelle is so superb, what a quality we have in the Black Queens. It’s been so many years that we’ve had this quality. The lady is good, her precision, her attacks, the technique in passing the ball.”
Ghana take on Algeria in the quarterfinals on Saturday, July19 at 16:00 GMT.
