Today, July 10, Ghana’s contingent is set to depart for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France.
This announcement was made by Ghana Olympic Committee President Ben Nunoo Mensah during the unveiling of Team Ghana’s kit.
The team comprises nine athletes, led by Rose Yeboah, the 2023 African Games high jump champion who recently won her second gold medal at the Africa Athletics Championship in Douala, Cameroon.
The French Embassy in Ghana has contributed 20,000 Euros to support Team Ghana, demonstrating their commitment to sports development in the country.
After their impressive performance at the World Relays in the Bahamas, Ghana’s 4×100 Men’s Relay Team members have also secured their spot at the Olympics.

The Olympics will take place from July 26 to August 11.
