From different angles and all perspectives, Ghanaians are preparing prodigiously for the celebration of the 2024 Ghana Month Edition in March.
In Ghana, the historical events in March make the month worth celebrating.
One of the notable events is the celebration of the nation’s Independence Day which falls on 6th March.
The Independence Day Celebration is significant in the nation’s history because it allows the citizens to remember when the country gained freedom from colonial masters, specifically the British colony.
The celebration also honours the patriotic heroes who fought tirelessly and shed their blood to gain independence for the nation.
A search by The Ghana Report on the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture website indicates that other significant events like the Re-enactment of Declaration of Independence, Pappoe Thompson Choral Festival, West Africa Integrated Travel (WAIT), National Tourism Awards, Wear Ghana Month, Wear-Ghana Exhibition, and many more will all happen in March in celebration of the nation’s rich culture and heritage.
It will be recalled that The Ghana Report last year highlighted some of the important things that could be associated with the people of Ghana in all dimensions throughout March.
Some of the featured articles focused on Culture, Tradition, Historical Places, Sports and Entertainment.
