2021 AFCON qualifiers: Black Stars hold first training session at FNB Stadium ahead of Bafana Bafana clash

The Black Stars of Ghana had their first training session in Johannesburg as they continue preparation for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against South Africa on Thursday, March 25, 2021.

As part of preparations for what is expected to be a tough encounter, coach Charles Akonnor led the team to its first training session at the match venue on Wednesday night.

Ghana currently sit on top of Group C with 9 points as they prepare to lock horns with Bafana Bafana at the FNB Stadium.

Both teams are battling for a maximum of 3 points to secure early qualification even before the last round of qualifying matches are played.
