2020 polls: Bawumia chairs NPP manifesto committee
The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has constituted a 10-member committee chaired by Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia to draft a manifesto for the upcoming polls.
The committee, dominated by male personalities, comprises of individuals who cut across various disciplines.
They have been tasked to draw a winning policy document that will keep the NPP in power for the next for years.
“The committee’s mandate includes undertaking a holistic review of the party’s 2016 Manifesto and to engage all relevant stakeholders on the subject with the view to coming out with the NPP’s 2020 Manifesto,” NPP General Secretary John Boadu said in a statement on Thursday.
