2020 has been a phenomenal year – KiDi

Despite the havoc coronavirus pandemic has wreck on businesses and the entertainment industry in 2020, Lynx Entertainment signee, KiDi says the year has been his best.

“2020 for me has been phenomenal, amazing,” he told the BBC.

According to him, his songs “Say Cheese’ and ‘Enjoyment” are doing extremely well on various digital music streaming platforms.

“Enjoyment’ is so huge, ‘Say Cheese’ is so huge. I’m just happy to have a lot of hit songs because it means I’m doing something right”

Coronavirus safety protocol like social distancing and ban on social gathering has affected the organization of events.

Some entertainers like actor Abeiku Seigo, Prince David Osei, and Juliet Ibrahim have called for the reopening of cinemas and theatres.

According to Seigo, the closure of cinemas has greatly affected the movie industry.

“We want to express our appreciation for the ¢50 million but if producers should get the money how will they make business with them?”

But despite the complaints from other entertainers, the singer says he is still raking in money.

“I know it’s hard to say with everything going on around the world, but I keep saying that with every dark cloud there’s always silver linings,” he added.
