147 new cases recorded; Ghana’s COVID-19 count now 14,154

Ghana’s coronavirus cases has seen another leap as the country records 147 new cases.

The total number of cases now stand at 14, 154.

President Akufo-Addo announced this, in his 12th address to the nation.

“As of Saturday, the total number of positives, cumulatively stands at 14, 154, out of the 270, 300 tests conducted.

“Under the revised policy, 5,925 persons have recovered and been discharged. This brings the total number of recoveries to 10,473,” the President indicated

Meanwhile, the number of death recorded remains 85.

President Akufo-Addo also mentioned that 24 persons are severely ill, six are critically ill and 4 are reported to be on ventilators.

The number of active cases in Ghana is 3,596.

All 16 regions have confirmed cases of COVID-19, with Greater Accra leading the chart.

Ashanti and Western Region follow keenly with 8,075 and 1,148 cases respectively.
