10 Christmas Songs You’ll Want To Listen To All December Long

Thanksgiving is officially over, so you know what that means? It’s officially the Christmas season! We can start getting ready for the holiday and all the festivities that go along with it!

I’ll admit, I’m not one to start decorating early, but I love listening to Christmas songs. And this year I started a week earlier than usual and it filled my heart with so much joy.

There are so many good Christmas songs out there, and I feel like we only know a handful aside from “All I Want For Christmas is You.” And that needs to change.

So, if you’re ready to up your Christmas song game, check out these songs and add them to your Christmas playlist.

1. “Underneath the Tree” – Kelly Clarkson

This song is such a bop. Whenever I hear it on the radio, I jam out to it. It has such an upbeat, fun vibe to it, you can’t help but dance to it.

2. “Beautiful Christmas” – Big Time Rush

This is honestly such a cute song! I feel like this time of the year is when we need to let loose and have fun. Spend time with the people you love and make it a “beautiful Christmas.”

3. “Pennies from Heaven” – Louis Prima

This is technically not a Christmas song, but it’s from “Elf” and whenever I hear it, I associate it with the movie. (I mean how, can you not?) Because of that, it’s always on my Christmas playlist.

4. “Run, Run. Rudolph” – Chuck Barry

I feel like so many of us associate this song with “Home Alone.” I associate it with running around and getting things done during the holidays. Whether it’s baking, shopping, or trying to catch a flight. You better be on your feet, and move it!

5. “Here (For Christmas)” – Lukas Graham

This song is beautiful, but it definitely has a heavier tone to it than the usual Christmas songs we’re used to. The holidays can be really tough sometimes, especially if you’re dealing with loss because you miss your person and all the memories that come with them.

This song makes us remember the ones that may no longer be here this holiday season, and it makes us cherish the memories we do have with them even more.

6. “Shake Up Christmas” – Train

This is honestly my favorite Christmas song ever. It’s different from others we typically hear and it has a great beat for when you’re driving in the car for some holiday shopping.

7. “Mistletoe” – Colbie Caillat

Whenever I hear this song, I picture being in a coffee shop working on my Christmas shopping. It’s so laid back and makes me want to keep it on in the background 24/7.

8. “Like It’s Christmas” – Jonas Brothers

I think everyone who is a Jo Bros fan probably loves this song. It has such a fun vibe and I feel like it would be perfect to listen to it while drinking hot chocolate and baking some cookies.

9. “All I Want (For Christmas)” – Liam Payne

For me, and I think most people, Christmas reminds me of love and spending time with people we care about. But it doesn’t mean you’re not upset with some people in your life. Christmastime can also be a great time to reconcile with people in your lives. This song proves that well.

10. “Officially Christmas” – Dan and Shay

“IT’S OFFICIALLY CHRISTMAS!” be prepared to have this song stuck in your head. Dan and Shay really outdid themselves with this song, and I’m not sure if anyone can top it. It’s a great song to bust out during karaoke. And if you’re in a relationship, it’s a great song to sing to your partner!

As Buddy the Elf says, “The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear”. Christmas time is a season with good food, memories, and music. Break out the Christmas music and sing along to your favorite songs!
