1 dead, 3 police officers injured following Dominase drug raid
One civilian has been confirmed dead following a police operation targeting illicit drug peddlers at Dominase in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.
The incident occurred during a crackdown intended to dismantle a suspected drug trafficking ghetto in the area.

During the operation, officers from the Ghana Police Service encountered fierce resistance from the alleged drug peddlers, leading to a confrontation between the civilians and police.

The confrontation also resulted in the severe injury of three police officers, in addition to the death of a civilian.

The identities of the deceased and the injured officers have not yet been released.
The injured police officers are currently receiving medical treatment.
Meanwhile, the Ghana Police Service has yet to issue an official statement on the incident, although an investigation is ongoing to ascertain its cause.
